Ninety Nine Advertising LLC delivered a large-scale retail branding project for Cake Amani Confectionery & Flowers on Airport Road, Al Manhal, Abu Dhabi.
The project combined a 17m x 2.5m integrated retail facade, 3D illuminated shopfront signboard, RAL-matched aluminum strip cladding, double-sided blade signage, and full van branding for the delivery fleet.
This was not a small storefront refresh. The work created a complete physical brand presence across the shopfront, facade structure, projecting sign, and mobile delivery vehicles.

The Brief: Create a Landmark Retail Facade on Airport Road
Cake Amani required a shopfront identity strong enough to stand out on Airport Road, one of Abu Dhabi’s busy commercial corridors.
The goal was to turn the storefront into a visible retail destination for “Sweet Creations,” while keeping the brand finish premium, recognizable, and consistent across the building frontage and delivery vehicles.
For a confectionery and flower retail brand, visibility is only part of the job. The signage also needs to feel refined, inviting, and commercially polished. A giant bright sign with no taste would be the signage equivalent of shouting in a bakery, which is exactly as unpleasant as it sounds.
Signage Scope Delivered
Ninety Nine Advertising LLC delivered an integrated signage and branding package covering the main shopfront, facade cladding, blade sign, and delivery fleet.
The core scope included a 3D illuminated shopfront signboard with large-scale aluminum letters and acrylic faces for a clean front-lit appearance. The main signage was integrated into a wider architectural facade treatment rather than installed as a standalone sign panel.
The facade and structural pillars were finished with custom-fabricated 3D aluminum strip effect cladding, powder coated in a deep forest green RAL-matched finish. This gave the frontage depth, texture, and stronger brand presence compared with a flat facade surface.
A custom circular double-sided blade sign was also installed to improve visibility from both pedestrian and vehicular directions along the street.
To extend the same brand identity beyond the storefront, Ninety Nine Advertising LLC also completed a full vehicle branding rollout for the Cake Amani delivery fleet using cast vinyl with UV lamination.

Design & Fabrication Solution
The facade solution was built around a strong contrast between deep green architectural cladding and illuminated 3D brand lettering.
The 3D aluminum strip cladding created a dimensional background across the 17m storefront and structural pillars. The RAL-matched powder coating helped maintain brand consistency while giving the facade a more architectural finish.
For the main shopfront signboard, 3D aluminum front-lit letters were fabricated with acrylic faces to support clean illumination and clear brand readability. The illumination system used Samsung Chip LEDs with Mean Well HLG Series drivers, as specified in the project details.
The circular blade sign added side-view visibility, helping the Cake Amani identity appear from more angles rather than depending only on front-facing traffic.
The full van branding extended the same visual identity into daily delivery movement. The cast vinyl and UV lamination helped protect the printed cake graphics and deep green brand colour during regular fleet use.

The completed project gave Cake Amani a more distinctive and premium retail presence on Airport Road in Abu Dhabi.
The storefront now works as a landmark-style facade rather than a basic shop sign. The illuminated 3D lettering supports day and evening visibility, the blade sign improves recognition from side approaches, and the branded delivery vans carry the same identity across the city.
