Project Overview

For the Emirates Council for Rural Development in Abu Dhabi, we executed a fast-turnaround outdoor branding package including 24 double-sided L-shape flags with 30kg bases and four large facade mesh banners.

The Large format facade banners were installed on a heritage-protected building with a zero-drill approach, using pocketed sleeves with aluminum tubes and stainless steel wire rope wrapped around existing beams/railings, with bottom weighting to control movement during high-level installation.

Project Technical Specifications

Turnaround: 3 days (design + proof + production) + 1 day installation

Installation location: Masfout, Ajman (remote-area install)

Scope delivered:

L-Shape Flags (24 pcs): 75 × 250 cm fabric, double-sided satin, double-sided print, 300 cm aluminum pole, 30 kg concrete base

Facade Mesh Banners (4 pcs): 1.8 × 4.0 m each, printed mesh banner (PVC-coated polyester mesh, wind-permeable 70/30 class, typically ~260–370 gsm).

Heritage-safe installation (no drilling):

  • Top + bottom pockets (folded) formed to create sleeves
  • Aluminum round tubes inserted into pockets for clean tensioning
  • Mounted using stainless steel wire rope wrapped around existing beams/railings
  • Lower edges weighted by connecting to concrete bases to stabilize banners at height

Constraints managed: rushed order, installation at height, no-drill restriction due to heritage building, remote logistics
