Configure Your Building Facade Banner in Abu Dhabi

Facade banners and stickers split by what the substrate has to do — let wind pass at height, carry maximum graphic clarity on a sheltered wall, or bond directly to the building surface. The right specification depends on facade height, exposure, surface condition, and how long the install needs to stay sharp.

Variants & Configurations

  1. Mesh Facade Banner: The mesh weave lets wind pass through — the working substrate for tall facades, multi-storey elevations, and scaffold-mounted installs against active building work. Print reads clear at skyline viewing distance; close-range softens slightly from the perforation.
  2. Solid Vinyl Facade Banner: Heavy-duty PVC carries the sharpest graphic clarity available — vivid colour, photo-quality detail, full opacity. The trade is wind tolerance: solid vinyl suits sheltered facades, lower elevations, and protected positions where impact matters more than altitude.
  3. Building Facade Vinyl Sticker: Cast vinyl applied directly to the facade — no hardware, no tensioning. Suits corporate logos on building faces, brand campaigns on tower elevations, and retail identity on rendered or painted masonry. Surface condition gates the install; heavily textured masonry needs a survey before quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

What permits do I need to install a building facade banner in Abu Dhabi?

Building facade banners require a landlord or developer NOC plus DMT permit submission via the TAMM portal under DMT Version 5. For installations on managed developments — Yas Island, Al Maryah, Al Reem, Saadiyat — a structural method statement may also be required before drilled fixings are approved. We handle the full permit chain in-house, from NOC drafting to TAMM submission to inspection sign-off, so the project moves from quote to live install without your team chasing approvals.

Should I use Mesh or Solid Vinyl?

It depends on the size and wind exposure. Solid Vinyl: Best for small banners (under 20 sqm) or short-term campaigns (2–8 weeks) where maximum colour vibrancy is needed. Mesh Banner: Mandatory for large high-rise installations (over 20 sqm) or long-term campaigns (12+ months). The perforation allows wind to pass through, preventing the banner from acting like a sail and ripping off the wall.

How do you install it at high altitude?

We use IRATA-certified Rope Access Technicians (abseilers) or mobile cranes, depending on the building access. We do not use simple ladders. The installation involves drilling anchor bolts into the facade concrete and creating a tensioned cable frame to hold the banner flat and secure against wind gusts.

What happens if the banner rips?

Our banners are finished with edge reinforcement (double-stitched webbing) to prevent tearing at the grommets. However, in extreme weather events (storms), no outdoor fabric is 100% indestructible. We offer maintenance packages to inspect and re-tension the banner periodically throughout the campaign duration.
