The Brief: Launch a Premium Korean Restaurant Presence at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi
Madang needed a branded restaurant presence that could attract hotel guests, local diners, and visitors moving through the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi hospitality environment.
The requirement was not limited to one sign above the entrance. The restaurant needed a complete visual rollout, from pre-opening hoarding to permanent storefront signage, reception branding, and window graphics.
For a hospitality location, every surface has a job. The storefront needs visibility, the reception sign needs polish, the windows need privacy and branding, and the hoarding needs to make a construction phase look intentional instead of mildly tragic.
Signage Scope Delivered for Madang Korean Restaurant
The storefront signage included two primary signboards in English and Arabic, fabricated using brushed finish 316 marine-grade stainless steel. The signs were illuminated using Samsung chip LEDs and Mean Well drivers, based on the supplied project specification.
Inside the restaurant, Ninety Nine Advertising LLC delivered a backlit 3D reception sign using marine-grade stainless steel letters with a 10mm acrylic diffuser mounted behind the letters. This created a soft halo effect suitable for the restaurant’s arrival and guest-facing interior.
For the glass frontage, the project included opaque printed window graphics. These supported brand visibility while helping provide privacy from the hotel’s common areas.
During the fit-out phase, Ninety Nine Advertising LLC also produced and installed large-format hoarding branding facing the hotel lobby, giving Madang a professional pre-launch presence before opening.

The solution combined permanent architectural signage with temporary launch-phase branding. Brushed 316 stainless steel was used for the main storefront and reception signs to create a refined hospitality finish, while backlit illumination helped the brand remain visible without looking harsh.
The 10mm acrylic diffuser behind the reception letters created a softer halo effect for the interior. Opaque printed window graphics gave the restaurant perimeter both privacy and branded visibility, while the hoarding banner turned the fit-out stage into a controlled pre-opening marketing surface.
